‘GAY’ THOR POSTER USED IN CINEMA

Hilarious! A homoerotic fan-made poster for the new Thor movie has accidentally ended up being used by a Chinese cinema.

The original version of the image is of the superhero Thor (Chris Hemsworth) gallantly protecting his love interest in the film, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

In the fan version, Thor is instead locked in a photoshopped embrace with his evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), removing Jane from the equation.

Needless to say, no such man-on-man cuddling takes place in the film. Unfortunately.

According to online reports, the image was used in a poster spotted outside of a Shanghai cinema, which may have mistakenly downloaded and used it thinking it was the genuine poster.

The design, which went viral in China, was created by a fan with the alias of bbqfish2012.

“Damn it! If I were paid 1 yuan each time the photo is retweeted, I would be rich!” she commented online.

Thor: The Dark World opens in South Africa today.
