Alec Baldwin is in trouble once again for allegedly using an anti-gay slur.

The American actor – who has often professed his support for LGBT equality – was embroiled in another altercation with the paparazzi on Thursday.

TMZ filmed the star pursuing a photographer outside his Manhattan apartment just hours after winning a court case against a stalker.

While the audio is not entirely clear, according to TMZ, Baldwin, who was with his wife and child, calls the man a “cocksucking fag.”

Rich Ferraro, spokesperson for LGBT media group GLAAAD, commented in response:

“Mr. Baldwin can’t lend his support for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice. It’s clearly time he listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs.”

The actor quickly took to Twitter to deny the claim, threatening to sue TMZ and insisting that he actually shouted “cocksucking fathead.”

He went on to say: “I’m grateful to all of the ppl I meet + hear from who recognize that I would never say something to offend my friends in the gay community.”

Baldwin later added: “Rich Ferraro from @glaad informs me that c’sucker is an anti-gay epithet.
In which case I apologize and will retire it from my vocabulary.”

In June, Baldwin was criticised for calling a reporter a “toxic little queen” on Twitter. He said it wasn’t intended to reflect on anyone’s sexual orientation.
