GARETH CLIFF GIVES LGBTQ COMMUNITY SLOT ON CLIFFCENTRAL

CliffCentral, Gareth Cliff’s online radio station, is adding a new segment to the Kellman on Cliffcentral show, called ‘That’s so Gay’, to the Friday line up from 15:00 to 15.30 during the month of Gauteng Pride this October.

Hosted by lesbian and gay duo, Liza Boshoff and Kevin Britz, the segment will feature the various aspects and history of Pride and provide a greater insight into LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning) life and all the challenges that come with it.

“Although we will address some serious elements, we are also looking at making it a fun and interactive show for all to join in,” said Boshoff or ‘Liza the Lesbian’ as she’s come to be known on The Gareth Cliff Show.

“We really need the support of the LGBTQ community to help spread the word about the show as we feel there is a place for it permanently on SA radio,” added Kevin Britz, Boshoff’s partner on the show.

Boshoff confirmed to Mambaonline that the October run is a trial to possibly launch a permanent show.

Starting on Friday 3 October, you can catch Boshoff and Britz from 15:00 to 15:30 on the afternoon drive with Kellman on CliffCentral. Podcasts of all the shows will be available.

Launched in May this year, CliffCentral saw popular and often controversial radio host Gareth Cliff taking his show off the airwaves and broadcasting on his own independent online platform.
