Has gay romance bloomed on The Bachelorette?

The latest season of The Bachelorette TV dating show appears to have a wild twist. Have two of the male competitors fallen for each other?
A preview of next week’s episode suggests that male contestants Clint Arlis and JJ Lane have developed a bromance that may have crossed over into romance.
Instead of competing to woo “the bachelorette”, Kaitlyn Bristowe, the aim of the show, the two men appear to be more interested in each other.
“Falling in love with a man never crossed my mind,” says Clint in the promo.
He adds, “I love JJ, so I need the rose tonight,” and goes on to say, “We’ve grown very close in the shower.”
Another competitor comments: “They are so into each other.”
The promo describes Clint as a “Brokeback bachelor” and promises that he “will blow your mind”.
It’s unclear to what extent JJ shares Clint’s feelings and, confusingly, Clint is also shown passionately kissing Kaitlyn.
The episode will be screened on Monday in the US. We’re excited to see if the reality lives up to the hype or if producers are simply ‘gay-baiting’ us…
