Kanye West feels need to tell world he’s not into ass play

In what seems to be a sign of “homo-panic”, Kanye West has desperately denied suggestions that he likes having his butt played with during sex.

West has in recent days been engaged in an infantile Twitter war with his ex, model Amber Rose, and her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa.

The three have traded insults to and fro, with West “slut-shaming” Rose and bringing her and Khalifa’s child into the argument.

We’re not going to bother repeating their pathetic jibes, but what caught our eye was Rose tweeting at one point: “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur asshole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch”.

Tacky, we know. But, really, who cares. Plenty of men, gay and straight, like a little (or a lot) of ass play. If West had any class or wasn’t insecure about his sexuality and masculinity he wouldn’t have taken the bait.

Instead, the humourless entertainer, known best for his delusions of grandeur, responded: “Exes can be mad but just know I never let them play with my ass… I don’t do that… I stay away from that area all together.”

Now, whether he likes a finger or two down below or not is neither here nor there (doth he protest too much?), but we certainly don’t need a celebrity perpetuating the sexual “dirtiness” of the anus. It’s a narrative that’s been used forever to justify attacks against gay men – even though many gay men don’t have anal sex and many more straight couples actually do.

The undertone of the whole exchange between Rose and West is one of homophobia. Why else would she say it as an intended insult and why else would he need to reply? Sad.
