Advertorial

Gay-Acrobats-in-stunning-art-video_02A breathtaking depiction of same-sex love has been released in honour of the victims of the Orlando massacre.

The short film features two acrobats who impossibly spin around each other in a large metal hoop to the sound of Arrow by The Irrepressibles.

They touch, embrace and kiss in a dance that is full of erotic tension and tenderness.

It concludes with the two men being thrown with coloured powder and the message: “In memory of our bothers and sisters lost in Orlandao.”

According to the YouTube description, the video depicts two male artists who fell in love.

“The video shows two talented men who transform their personal story into an exciting performance to send a powerful message. That we are proud of who we are, the love that we share, and that all love is equal.”

The project was created by Matthew Richardson, a Montreal based American circus performer, and directed by Damian Siqueiros.

Writing on Facebook, Richardson said: “Lots of love, hard work and passion went into this. Seems like everyday there’s a new video showing how dark the world can be, so here’s to showing something bright and beautiful instead.”
