Jozi clubbing: Simply Blue is relaunching

Advertorial

Simply_Relaunch-jan_2017Simply Blue, one of the longest-running gay clubs in Joburg, is relaunching at a new venue on Saturday 28 January.

“After so many iconic years in clubbing and entertainment, Simply Blue still believes it has a role to play in the world of entertainment as well as being part of the very limited gay culture and space,” said owner Jerome Camp.

The address, 36 Rogers Street, Selby, stays the same but the club will relocate to a new space right alongside the previous venue, which has been its home since 2010.

“This new venue will bring back your clubbing experience to a new level. Our track record speaks for itself,” said Camp.

“With the sore lack of (LGBT) entertainment outlets in greater Johannesburg we invite all to come out in numbers to witness the birth of the all new Club Simply Blue.”

Simply Blue will open on Friday nights under the MI-House brand (with funky house entertainment brought to you by DJ. BobbyJazz of Noqgala Empire and Entertainment).

Saturday nights will remain known as Simply Blue Nights.

Sundays will see a new concept of Sunday Chillers focusing on the growing drag world of entertainment, with chilled vibes, swing music and golden classics. The venue will also allow for venue hire for birthdays and other occasions.

The new Simply Blue opens on Saturday 28 January at 36 Rogers Street, Selby, Johannesburg.
