Porn star comes out of retirement for LGBTQ charity

Advertorial

Popular gay porn star Markie More has found a novel way to support his favourite charity – have lots of sex on camera!

The hunky performer announced that he’s decided to stay in the adult video business, just weeks after tweeting that he was retiring.

Speaking at an industry trade show in Arizona, he promised to donate $150 to the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Network for every scene that he appears in.

“I’ve always felt a calling to help people especially those who can’t necessarily help themselves. As the years have gone by this feeling within me has become increasingly stronger. I felt as though I wasn’t doing enough and I needed to leave the industry to make it happen,” said More at the event.

“It wasn’t until I took some time to myself and reflect, that I realised I don’t need to leave. This is the very industry that changed my life for the better in so many ways. Being comfortable with who I am, my sexuality, my confidence. It’s helped me grow in ways I wouldn’t have imagined. I realised I can still fulfil this calling and while continuing in the industry.”

More went on to add: “It doesn’t matter who you are, you can make a difference. I’ve made the decision not to retire. From this point forward I will be donating $150 from every one of my scenes to the Gay Straight Alliance Network.”

Next Door Studios, which has exclusively signed More, also promised to donate an additional $100, for every scene he shoots, to the same charity.

It’s been estimated that if he performs in as many films as he did in the past, More and the studio could contribute around $10,000 a year to the GSA Network.

The GSA Network helps LGBTQ students and straight allies organise GSA clubs in their schools focused on activism to create safer and friendlier school environments.
