Durban's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and intersex (LGBTI) community comes out once again to celebrate its diversity from 25 June to 1 July.

Durban Pride

Join us that morning to paint messages on t-shirts and posters. We will then walk the streets of Durban in the company of METRO and SAPS, celebrating life, spreading messages of unity and peace, calling for an end to violence, hate crimes, rape, murder and other injustices; and encouraging dialogue and reconciliation through-out KZN. A DURBAN PRIDE Festival would commence shortly after the parade promising light entertainment and performances with local DJs spinning the decks. Good security and the uniqueness of the location would ensure that we would enjoy a relaxed and safe experience.

The biggest funkiest celebration of "being" - The Durban Pride Official After Party @ The Lounge: CARNIVAL OF LIGHT. The Lounge's 2 dance floors, 5 bars and various chill-out areas transformed into a variety of spectacular lighting images celebrating I AM LIGHT! PLUS Human art installations reflecting our community in the most colourful carnival ever seen in Durban. Top DJ's on the 2 dance floors will keep us going till the early hours of the morning.
