LET'S HAVE A KIKI
Sun, 22 July 2012
Kiki has many meanings. It can be used as a synonym for a party, for gossip, for sexy, being naughty and as a nickname for your bff.
In the grand tradition of The Reserve, one of the world’s finest clubs in Cape Town, this will be a Kiki like no other.
The event, on Friday 3 August, will be hosted by the marvellously talented, ‘sultress of sexy’, honorary gay man and all-round inspiring diva, Ms Irit Noble.
"Over the past several weeks and months, Cape Town's gay scene has suffered a major blow with the end of one of our big clubs, but the gay scene in Cape Town has been lacking something exciting long before that happened," said Kiki organiser Francois Marais.
"This is why I have taken it upon myself to arrange this new exciting event for the classy, fashionable, stylish, fun, adventurous men of Cape Town."
Kiki Cape Town will be a once a month party hosted on the first Friday of every month, with each event having a different theme.
On hand to provide the great beats to dance the night away will be maestro of music and resident at The Reserve, LSDJ. And a sister who is no stranger to legendary Kiki's in Cape Town, a regular at the big events and pink festivals, a doctor of dance, DJ Charl Zero.
