TASTE OF JOBURG

Wed, 29 August 2012

Taste of Joburg, which will bring together the city's most acclaimed restaurants and selected exhibitors at the Montecasino Outdoor Event Area from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 September, is celebrating its 6th anniversary.

Riding high from the hugely successful 2011 event, this food festival promises to be one of the culinary events of the year. Taste of Joburg features the city's finest restaurants, award-winning wineries, premium drink brands, niche food exhibitors and fantastic entertainment. If you love eating out, this is an opportunity too good to miss.

“The days of Joburg being seen as Cape Town’s poor culinary cousin are definitely over. What we have this year are 13 of the city’s top restaurants as well as our own Taste Pop-Up restaurant where a handful of guest chefs will 'pop' in to cook their signature dishes during a Taste session,” said Taste Festivals Director, Justine Drake.

The Pick n Pay Taste of Joburg’s featured restaurants for 2012 are:

African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel (Executive Chef Hanroe Erasmus)
Blue Feather Fine Dining and Bistro (Executive Chef Mitch Clark)
