Miss Black Pride 2012 (5 October)
Who will take the crown this year? This annual pageant and pre-Pride party takes place at Club Simply Blue. Admission is R50. At 36 Rogers Street Booysens, Joburg.

Fireman’s Ball (6 October)
The largest Joburg Pride mega after-party, now in its sixth year. Featuring Swedish pop star, Ola. Rivonia Junction Basement, from 9 p.m. till late.
