MODERN FAMILY GAY COUPLE'S EMMY 'FEUD'
Wed, 26 September 2012

The two actors play same-sex couple Mitchell and Cameron on the hit comedy show which scooped most of the awards in the comedy category at the Emmys on Sunday.
Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Monday, Ferguson talked about losing the Best Supporting Actor In A Comedy award to Stonestreet.
Kimmel commented that Stonestreet may have had the upper hand because he's a straight man playing a gay role while Ferguson is a gay man playing a gay character.
"You might want to think about dating some women," Kimmel suggested to Ferguson, tongue-in-cheek.
Ferguson, who insisted that he's not bitter at having lost, then introduced a video clip spoofing television ads for the upcoming American presidential election.
The dramatic ad promises to reveal the truth about Stonestreet, claiming: "Eric Stonestreet isn't gay. He just steals gay American jobs from gay Americans. He's a liar and an ass-kisser."
The clip ends with Ferguson looking at the camera, just like the presidential candidates in their ads, and stating: "I'm Jesse Tyler Ferguson and I approve this message."
Watch Ferguson on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the hilarious spoof ad below.
