Here in the United States, the only bills regarding same sex unions that get passed, are the ones banning any type of recognition!
Get over yourselves and your, “we want more attitude”! One step at a time, let people see that the passage of just such measures do not destroy the fabric of society!
I for one am excited whenever I hear of a legislative body embracing the Gay life!!!

We are who we are, Equal in all form… we shouldnt have to simply bow down and take what we can get…

but compare our positon as LGBT people
to the theirs….

not kidding. Of course, I don’t want to be controlled and Bills can be ammended. I repeat – Get the legitimate recognition of same sex unions on the books, the public used to the idea – then work for ammendments that bring the laws into equality.
Here in the USA, state after state are passing laws which recognize any form of same sex union. We have YEARS to go before reaching the same level of legislative action your leaders have just passed. Not perfect, but a step in a positive direction. Get my point? Overly naive? Maybe. Hopeful, definitely.
