When will you be satisfied?. Isn’t it wonderful that our government acknowledges gay and lesbian people in such a welcoming way? Could you imagine this happening under the previous regime? Not even to mention the rest of Africa! So it boggles my mind WHY people are still complaining about certain sections or that it’s “seperate” from the marriage act? I don’t have words to explain the disdain I feel about these complaints. Be thankful for what you have: freedom to live out your sexuality without being prosecuted or even killed – and now also the right to go into a union with the person you love. My goodness, it’s a “giant leap for mankind”! Stop complaining!!

-when were our black brothers and sisters satisfied? Only when they won the right to be ABSOLUTELY equal to any other person in this world. No separate (spelling dear!) benches, trains, townships or LAWS for ANYONE!!!

You unthankful bastards!. I agree with ueni. From what we had (which was NOTHING) this is a giant leap foward! But I guess that is the problem with MOST people these days – they are just SO ungreateful for what they already have in their lives, always on the lookout for a new boyfriend, new car, a new street or town name, a new law… The list is endless. That is why people are so unhappy.

WE ARE NOT THE SAME. To MENATEPLY: Wake up and smell the coffee! Yes we are all human beings with feelings etc. But face it, we are NOT the same as heterosexual couples. Some heterosexuals do f*ck around, but not nearly to the extend that gay guys do. Most gays have slept/played with hundreds of different guys (you get your exceptions of course). 90% of gays can’t keep a relationship. But now we want to marry!
On the other hand: Gays are better interior designers, business men and managers than str8 ppl. Gays are more creative in general than str8 ppl.
Face it: WE ARE NOT THE SAME. Yes we don’t have to discriminate against different ppl, we have to acknowledge our differences and respect each other!
