I’ve only just read the article and could not find the offending words anywhere in it. I did a quick word search and only found one hit for ‘stabani’; it remains in a comment from a reader. The other word could not be found.

It is news to me about these two words being offensive. I’ve never heard of them before but obviously, they strike a chord somewhere. Since I can’t find them in the original article, it is safe to assume that News24 has listened to complaints and has sensored the article.

I believe in free speech and opposed to hate speech but I am as yet undecided as to whether I like the idea of sensorship.
