I have reported to you before that my partner and I had a same-sex civil union performed on 6th January. (It was reported, with photographs, in both the “Sunday Tibune” and the “Natal Witness”. Our advocate obtained a marriage officer licence on the same day she applied, and she was assisted during the proceedings by an attorney friend who had conducted four prior civil unions.
