and your positive comment is?.... I never have a problem with anyone who disagrees or who is even antipathetic, provided the feedback is based on "informed decision", even if I also disagree with the review.

What a pity Captain resports to silly sarcasm..

Christo, I found your review intriguing and look even more forward to seeing the film myself, having studied Marie Antionette for many years. You may be interested to know that on a French TV programme, all the evidence brought to bear against M.A was reviewed in a 'court of law', and she was actually found innocent. I am interested too, to know why the film was booed.. Given what I have just written, I should be very surprised indeed to think it was because the French disliked the lack of the populace's appearance in the film. One never can tell I suppose..

Can't wait...

Movie Reviews. I'm not really all that bothered with reading movie reviews, mostly because it normally creates a subconscious opinion that would not have been there had you seen the movie first. Call me odd (you won't be the first), but I've fallen into the habit of reading Christo's reviews after I've seen the movie - so far, I've been in 100% agreement with him. What I like and what you like will probably not always be the same thing, as with any review, but I must just say that Christo Oberholzer is one of very few movie critics who I feel always gives a well-balanced opinion from every angle involved with film. It is obvious that he has some basic knowledge of film under his belt! Well done, Mamba - you seem to have some of the best critics around as contributors!
