Its a pity about the photo that was used forthis story. Its not good for the image of Out in Africa. No matter how many times Nodi will speak of the achievements of their organisation and the festival the picture will always cancell those achievements.

On all the festivals I am so excited I always miss them and now I will enjoy them all.

when she had her festival last time in hyde park the openly gay city con did not even get a call or was not even invited to the opening… i am sure the city would help out like they did for pride this year…

Come on use the gay people in jhb and stop bitching about another festival the more we get the better films we can get to see…

GAY FILMS. I have noticed a decline in quality of the OIA films over the years and eventually I stopped going to the festival. Seems like the organizers were just getting any gay film they could lay their hands on and slapping them on screen. I was happy that someone else was going to bring gay movies to SA.

I am surprised that Nodi is so upset, I would have thought that she would be happy that there would be more gay films in SA. Makes me think that the only reason she holds her festival is for the government grant of over R3mil per year. she can not campaign for gay rights etc and then get upset that someone wants to show gay films. Very, very strange indeed.
