Firstly, I”d like to say that while human rights record in China are atrocious, westerners do not have any right to critisize China, especially when you consider all the atrocities that western nations commited during colonialism and they have not even apologized for it. Did Britian, America, or France apologize to China for starting the Opium wars during the 19th Century? NO. Did they apologize to any other nation in the world for any of the racial crimes they commited? NO. So I dont know how weterners could even think for one second that they could ever judge anyone else.

Secondly, oppresion of the chinese people by their own government has been going on for thousands of years, for those of you who do not know anything about chinese history (even though its not right) and Tibet has always been a part of China, historically. Thats far better than westerners who colonized countries that had absolutely nothing to do with them historically or culturally. Lets just leave the chinese to sort themselves out. Perhaps the west should look at themselves first before passing judgment on others.
