love not hate!!!!!. This article got me in tears, i''ll be at zoo lake not only to celebrate but to be thankful that there are still people who love me and don''t see my sexuality as threat nor a sin,we still have a long way as south africans,let''s see their death as a rebirth of freedom.

remembering those who are in “better” place. it is sad that even today there are still those who still murder gays and lesbians, but i guess God know better than us since noone is perfect. anyway may all gays and lesbian who passes rest in peace, i love them and we shall always remember them……….

Jesus said we are all siners. If people who do this are driven by any religios believe they misrepresenting that believe especially if it is christianity becaus Jesus said we are all siners as nobody is perfect, regardless of anything nobody has the right and powers to kill a human kind because rgardless of the sexuality before God we are equal as we are all his creation. This killings are uncalled for. THIS IS HEART BREAKING. may their sole rest in peace and avenge their lives

Remembering our sisters. I am happy to see this article on your website.
I know that this is mostly visited by white women loving women, so it is heartwarming to know that our plight as black lesbians is something that you share.
I pray that all lesbians of colour one day enjoy the "apparent ease" of being a white lesbian in SA. At least when it comes to being able to associate with each other and not expect brutality.

Sisters, use the privileges you have to express your disapproval of these crimes, by writing into all media's when these issues are raised, calling into talkshows, writing to the various political parties. sisters use your positions in your workplaces to make life easier for each other.
