South African designers constantly make the mistake of comparing Johannesburg and Cape Town with New York, Milan and Paris and that&#039;s not what fashion is  &quot;really&quot; about. Every city has its own fashion identity... South Africans do not have an identity... (for so many reasons I care not to mention...) What identity do our Cities have? Hence the designers... present a carbon copy of a Mizrahi.... Gilliano and some Dolce... I say so because I attended the show... spoke to a designer... and posed the question... Haute Couture or Pret-a-porte, which kind of designer are you... I may as well have been speaking in French!!! ]]></description>
