					<description><![CDATA[blah! blah!. The books they have listed as inappropriate are masterpieces in their own right. And how on earth do they justify the &#039;Dark Materials&quot; trilogy as being &quot;violent and anti-religious.&quot; Why isn&#039;t Harry Potter on the list then? &lt;br&gt;In case they haven&#039;t looked out their windows recently (and I doubt they have) these books do represent the rich multicultural tapestry of their nation. They are books that deal openly and honestly with subjects that every child will face as they grow up. Parents cannot hide the real world from their kids (and some try). Parents can either teach their kids to approach the situation with ignorance and fear, or with love &#038; understanding.]]></description>
