Why now…?. I’m not trying to deride Robbie’s case, but I am left to wonder over the initiative of his case, given that he is an aspiring artist.

If the case was snowballed when he was 21, I’m still wondering if this is a case that should be hauled before a public court – at the end of it, publicity is gained by all, and our putrid appetite for invidious drama will be satisfied.

Folks, I have a hunch that justice, integrity and truth have very little to do with this salacious circus…

I had a sexual relationship with an older man (in his thirties) right through high school. I was 14 when it started and it only ended when I was 22 or 23 years old. Even though at first HE initiated sex, soon enough it was me who would do so. I never felt abused, even though I was a minor at the time. We are still friends and nobody knows me better than he does. I am not saying Els did not "abuse" a minor, but even minors sometimes (as it was in my case) initiate and want the relationship to take place. I was never abused or taken advantage of. I wanted it, and I'm glad we had what we had.

It's another story when a child/teenager is forced to do something he doesn't feel comfortable with. I know 99% will disagree with me, but this is my experience.

If Mr Klay feels he was taken advantage of, then he should go ahead with his case. I'm right behind him in his decision. Just be aware that there are others who were in similar situations who never felt abused. We are few, but we do exist.
