…… This article makes for chilling reading! I was thinking about making a donation for a charity in Gambia but after reading this article I’ve changed my mind. I can’t in all good conscience donate anything to a country (or to any other African country) with a president who makes such vile threats. Africa is a dying continent and gay people are not the cause. Ignorant politicians are.

Revolution anyone?. A disturbing time line of cruel events against us!
And no, not even the closet is safe… We need to stand up and fight for our rights… The world is in the hands of a few polititions most of which are CLOSET cases, toying with their own internalised homophobia. Africa needs to wake up, WE EXIST!!!
And no we are not “going agaist the course of nature”. Sick and tired of denyalism and reactive action.

I recently considered travelling through Africa – I felt it a shame that I live here and haven’t seen much of it. This article is making me rethink this: I don’t believe I should spend my money in countries with these kind of policies.
