OK, I’ll admit that the timing of her comments may be a little insensitive since the guy has only just pegged, but what she is saying is the kind of truth that sends peple running for cover. The fact of the matter is that if he was gay and in the Mormon Church chances are that it was pretty crappy for him. Those people are extremists when it comes to this and Roseanne is totally right – Marie is hiding her head in the sand. I wonder if she has given any thought as to WHY the poor guys was depressed? I’m constantly amazed at how good people are at seeing only what they choose to see, even when that which is right in front of them contradicts it totally.
