I’m slightly confused … why, as gay parents, would they want to send their children to a catholic school? The school will teach them that homosexuality is wrong yet their parents are gay – the children will end up being more confused, perhaps resentful to their parents as they grow older. And wouldn’t it lead to serious bullying and teasing from pupils (and teachers). Enrol them in a private school where they’ll (hopefully) learn that everyone is equal and they stand a better chance in a life without religous bigotry being pounded into their heads every day.

PS. Can the editor of this site try and find more uplifting stories?! It seems of late that all that is on here is homophobia from the US. Find stories where positive things are happening in our and for our community.
