					<description><![CDATA[Non event. I think this is a non event, not newsworthy. He has basically said nothing, offered no course of action. Given the complete lack of action despite a very public outcry over the ambassadorial appointment of publicly homophobic Jon Quelane, and Zumas known homophobic stance, I do not think these two brave men can expect any salvation in the form of South Africa. We can, however, in our own personal capacities, boycott goods from Malawi, and continue to actively petition internationally to find ways to pressure  their draconian and repressive government. Sadly, the very gay men and women in this country who have the economic clout and educational requirements to make a difference, are apathetic and inert when called to act. Major fail all round, and no prizes offered. :(]]></description>
