The point is to indicate to the world that homosexuality is within one’s genes, or perhaps somehow otherwise biologically influenced. Gay people themselves have many theories as to how they became gay, usually pointing to some incident in life or some particular lack of manly influence.

The truth is, pointing out that homosexuality freely exists in animals is an indication that homosexuality is, in fact, natural, like heterosexuality, although just less pronounced in the global population. It is about attempting to prove to everyone that homosexuality is naturally-occurring, and not simply something that somebody decides to be on a whim, or in fact even due to an incident in life.

So true. My thoughts exactly when reading this article.

Right he is about not looking to nature on How we should act and what social ques we should take from nature, but the fact that homosexuality occurs in creatures that are 100% natural in everything they do, by instinct, thus homosexuality is 100% natural.
I kinda think the article is explained poorly, and that the author misses the main idea, but perhaps he was trying to prove his point? which was different to ours? Not quite sure.
