It seems there is a concerted effort to attack gay Israeli’s in every Pride Parade around the world. Just this morning I read on http://www.ynetnews.com that MadridPride has cancelled a “float” with the Israeli representatives, claiming the organising committee had been pressured by pro-Palestinian activist groups to exclude them. This is ironic, since Israel is the only Middle eastern country that actively recognises and protects its LGBT citizens.

Instead of fighting for the gay rights of everyone, Madrid Pride has decided to discriminate against them by people who would rather have gays imprisoned or killed. Their excuse is that they cannot ensure the security of Israeli gays.

So I am glad that the Canadians had the balls to stand up for them.
