I was assaulted for no reason by a white bouncer for no reason because i am not white….. this happened approximately 2 years ago. Management did not even apologise yet everybody witnessed it at the dance floor. I am disgusted & wouldn’t be seen dead at Ramps….

Ramps. I have also heard from many different people that there are frequent gay bashings around Ramps. Probably a bunch of drunk straight guys hanging around the club (and not necessarily inside the club). Have management ever done anything to look into this allegations, whether they are true or not. Because it has become synonymous with gay bashings to la LOT of gay clientele, even if it does not happen. And those who go back again and again are probably the hardcore club bunnies that won’t stay away even if half of it was closed down.

never seen it. I’ve been going there for years and have never seen any of these “bashings”… Load of bullshit. The place is full of queens – why do they keep going back after 7 years if they get bashed?

Bashings. To me Ramps is synonomous with gay bashings. It must be the “bi-sexual” patrons.

I hear more and more about people being beaten up at Ramps. I’m not certain about all the causes but it is worth addressing by management. A complaint lodged on hellopeter as recent as 26th of July (www.hellopeter.com/ramp-divas-night-club-complaint-[317015]) is another story to add to the list.

There are also complaints of racism often lodged against (and ignored) by management of Ramps. While I congratulate them on a successful seven years, perhaps Mamba could ask a few more questions as to why not all Ramps patrons feel secure in a club that claims to “believe in preserving our gay heritage and gay culture”.
