Shocking. To me, the most shocking thing about this whole saga is how clearly uninformed this bloke is. If someone like him, with an education knows that little about gay life and people and actually think stuff like this, it just shows how very far we are from true acceptance and liberty. The only way to do that is to educate people. Each and every one of us should teach and show people that we actually are not the perverts they were taught that we were. Knowledge is power and that breeds acceptance.

…”reference to homosexuality”. It sounds like he’s apologising to the fact that he mentioned homosexuality in general, as if that in itself were the offending part of it. Not a genuine apology at all __ he’s just sorry that he started with his anti-gay rant in the first place. And most of all, he’s sorry that somebody complained.
