I don’t believe it is blasphemous as the characters mentioned in the lyrics are metaphors.

Is it brilliant? Hardly. Artists and politicians have used biblical characters for centuries to gain attention. Gaga is just climbing on the bandwagon with an unoriginal concept.

Boring? Considering the above….perhaps it is. However “the song is not a celebration of Judas, but rather a lament that Gaga cannot overcome her love for a person who clearly treats her like dirt” and sadly there’s a lot of people who can relate or identify to that which creates a market or listenership for her – which is the whole point after all
