There is no need to come out to the public. Been gay is normal life, and onces choice… There is no need to inform anyone or explain your life to the next person, as they have not done the same too. Remain who you are and enjoy your private life. There are millions of guys out there who engage on men sex, and would not want the whole world to know, thus saying … You dont owe any explanation to anyone.

Yawn. One man cycles well, the other presumably does something with a sphere. Why expect anything vaguelly politically progressive or insightful from them (or this site?)? May as well ask that Randburg preacher about human rights and integrity.

I question the wisdom of coming out in an environment where your friends and family may not be ready to hear what you have to say. If one is not in an established and secure gay lifestyle/relationship and due to age, looks, etc unlikely to get into one, why burn your bridges in your “straight life’ if you are unsure of being able to replace what you lose in a ‘gay life’.
I’d be grateful for some mature debate on this, not eye rolling “oh paaleeeze” type of sarcasm which serves only to mask intellectual bankruptcy.
