Yip jaw dropping design, breath taking performance … but still a thirsty little hairdryer! … Although have to admit, some nifty enigineering makes this a fast hairdryer … but still personally judged as an expensive toy! Which is probably the original design intend. *wink*

As E says, an “expensive toy”.. the thing that is not mentioned, and should be, is that these cars, if history is anything to go by, do depreciate very fast, too, and this is to be factored in to the expense of the toy…

While it is largely subjective, I’d say that the “looks” of this car, though less grily than the previous two incarnations, are nowhere near as immaculately fine as the current BMW Z4.
When it comes to drive and handling and performance, the Boxter from Porsche, and especially the BoxterS, remains well ahead. And that conclusion has nothing to do with “brand loyalty” but with knwoing a find driving machine and its capabilities, and comparing those with something else, in this case the merc SLK 350

Check your facts again… You don’t even mention the Nissan 370Z and it top’s it class in performance and handling…. Top Gear…. cars competing in this class (Z4, 370Z, SLK, Boxter and TT)
