This story started out funny, but then turned sad. It’s really crazy that you can still be imprisoned just for being who you are in some countries. Really sad.

Well if you do it in public expect that there will be consequences. For goodness sake we are all adults and not animals that mate anywhere. It is exactly this type of behaviour that make communities intollerant towards gays as they throw their gayness in to everyone’s faces.

they were probably both white or both black, and this is why they would get long sentences. [my guess is both white; and yes, there are white seychellois.]

three years in prison would cause the same amount of financial harm as the six months for the two bangladeshi guys.

Although I agree with what has been said regarding sexual activity in public spaces, especially in the middle east-I do believe that if countries like these were less strict with how their citizens live their lives that there would be less activity in the streets and more in the homes…

It is illegal to have sex in public places in most countries in the world. Sex should be a private activity. These guys were clearly looking for trouble having sex publicly in the Middle East. If anything such actions just give homophobes more reasons to hate.

Am with WTF on this one. Guys we know Arab countries r full of homophobes n they’re more conservative than Africans! So if u must go n visit a homomphobic country please don’t be stupid. No matter who comes ur way it ain’t worth it.

Well, we all know what the attitude to homosexuality is in the middle East. So if you get pissed and have public gay sex there, the consequences are predictable. I don’t understand why gay people even contribute to the economies of such direly homophobic countries as UAE by visiting them? Spend your pink Rands elsewhere, sweeties…
