Surely this ill-conceived bill won’t pass constitutional muster. It re-embodies apartheid this time based on patriarchal, chauvinist and rural bases. One set of laws for city-dwellers and one for those in the machinations and co-conspirators of apartheid, the bantustans, that would make George Orwell so proud.

what is the point of trying to reason with these traditional african leaders, who are set in their traditions. i wish they would just stop being so scared to jump out of the closet and embrace their true nature, because i know out in the bush i know it must get lonely and i know they like a ‘knop kierie’ up their butthole, wink wink, brokeback drankensburg mountain…those were the days my friend…

public consultaion will do us little good if the very people who wish blotted out of exsistense hold influence on the majority of the people. The bill is in direct contridiction with our constitution it must just be scrapped.
