This is so true – that we use way too many substances and then stop caring about the consequences. I know this from personal experience.

I personally don’t date heavy drinkers n druggies they r such kill joys in the sack… a nite of passion is reduced to 20min. I’ve also noticed really hot guys tend to drink a whole lot more before hitting the sack as well or is that just my imagination? It makes one wonder if gay pride is truely a facade if most of us are so self destructive. Perhaps it’s more pent up rage than it is pride? I just steer from that scene altogether it’s alot healthier in the long run.

Gay men men love a good, wild party; after all, we have a reputation to uphold. But what happens when it’s all over and we have to face the consequences, including the possibility of being infected with HIV? – Wow how many cliches could possibly fit into one sentence!!! How about SOME gay men, and since when does loving a party = having to worry about HIV. Certainly not an article that embraces the diversity of gay people in South Africa, nor is inclusive, nor supports an acceptance of gay people in a contemporary, diverse, South African context. Come on Roberto is this really the best you can do?

And remember someone can look all desent and promise you they are clean but sometime they dont know or just dont want to tell you.
