Dating older guys can suck! I have the tendency of attracting older guys who wanted a younger guy to play with as opposed to a relationship, so ya Al good point about respect. When u are crystal clear about ur intentions with a guy, n a guy is doing the opposite (regardless of thier age) it’s a clear sign to kick his ass to the curve. My problem personally, has less to do with age then mentality. We live in a time when most guys are doing nothing but cruising, leaving those who want more than ‘fun’ in the minority. I can’t count how many old guys in thier late 40’s still come to me looking For NSA. In my head I’m thinking, by the time I’m that old I would in a rock sold marriage by then. As a young guy I always assumed older guys had the experience n knowledge I didn’t have which what attracted to them in the 1st place. Now I’m a little older and a lot wiser and realise that the blind can’t lead one another. No one can show you experience u gotta go through it urself most importantly find urself a good role model, lord know there r too few in the gay world. That’s our learning process I guess… but some Learning curves suck more than others. Age gap dating can go either way. I’ll say this much with the older guys. Some of them know what the hell they’re doing*wink*

Good article. My BF is 27, I am 58. He moved in 10 days after we met and we are doing very well 10 months later – not always plain sailing, but which relationship is.
The best piece of advice i received (from a third party) is ‘take it one day at a time’. Trying to guess the long term is fatal, in my view.
