I sometimes find it very confusing when at a point in time African leaders talk about protecting and fighting for equal human rights and at another time these same leaders go against homosexuality and invade the privacy of people who engage into same sex relationships. it is time African realize the concept and meaning of human rights and should not focus it to a particular set of gender or people… as LGBTIQ people we are all human beings and we deserve equal rights as any other human being in the world. Our sexuality and sexual orientation should be respected and we need our privacy and freedom as any other person in the world.
