					<description><![CDATA[I wasn&#039;t aware until now that the person who married us was the same one who initially refused, otherwise I would&#039;ve given her a decent tongue-lashing. Karen De Bruyn, the officer who married us was the nicest person - she even told us that she has no problems marrying us...and still we haven&#039;t received any form of apology from the department for their blatant discrimination in the first place.&lt;br&gt;Nevermind though, because we got our day...we were married just like any hetero-couple...as it should be. We achieved what we set out to do, and opened the way for other gay couples.]]></description>
