They were protesting against the ANC government’s reluctance to get involved with what is happening in Uganda (following recent anti-gay legislation). At least the DA is trying to show that they are a party that stands for the promotion of equal rights. I think it was very wise of them to get involved. I was there this weekend and they they never tried to push anyone to vote for them or something.

This is a divisive activity which is the polar opposite of what pride, in theory, is supposed to be about – unity. Like, why the fuck am I looking at a picture of Tim Harris?
