If no one will come to the aid of the LGBTI Community in Uganda, maybe it is the Ugandans themselves who should take the leading role in emancipating themselves from a government that wants to take them back to the dark ages. The Ugandans must continue to put pressure on Museveni until he realises the folly of his actions.

I still find it very difficult to understand how blacks can discriminate others, even when they themselves know the pain of being discriminated against for something one cannot change. For over a hundred years, blacks were discriminated against in their own countries by successive minority governments. For them to then gain power only to start persecuting others baffles the mind.
