I am glad to see that the Ugandans are refusing to be intimidated by the backward draconian legislation of the Museveni Government and the Christian fundamentalists. If no one will come to the aid of the LGBTI Community in Uganda, maybe it is the Ugandans themselves who should take the leading role in emancipating themselves from a government that wants to take them back to the dark ages. The Ugandans must continue to put pressure on Museveni until he realises the folly of his actions.

I still find it very difficult to understand how blacks can discriminate others, even when they themselves know the pain of being discriminated against for something one cannot change. For over a hundred years, blacks were discriminated against in their own countries by successive minority governments. For them to then gain power only to start persecuting others baffles the mind.
