Good article, but the bit about open relationships is nonsense. Different types of relationships work for different people. Nothing wrong with a monogamous relationship, but it shouldn’t be the standard go-to model. People thinking there’s ‘the one’ and clinging to that idea is often a reason for relationships failing. It’s all about communication and being open to realising you can’t romanticise what you THINK the relationship should be like. Go with it, and be open to new forms of experience, together.

What a great read, I honestly can relate to this and the exact same happened to me. After a 3 year relationship. It didn’t work out. I have learned from that and this, and hopping the next one will be the right one. Maybe if i used some of these tips, I would still happily be there.

Great article! I’ve been with my boyfriend for a long time now and I’ve found the same thing. Although sex is always awesome even if it’s dirty and flirty or loving and passionate, there is definitely a difference between the two!
