What the Bible says on the matter: (1 Corinthians 7;19) Circumsition does not mean a thing, and uncircumsition means not a thing, but observance of God’s commandments does.

Absolutely true, The practice of male (African) circumcision is being eroded, no longer is it about choice and personal assertion. Human interaction is constantly revealing that we are only human. That is where I start my plea, and love between individuals is exactly that, between the concerned. Simply put, let the unjust human exposure not be a norm or cultural practice anymore.

I have may gay black friends who have willingly been through the entire circumcision ritual as though they were heterosexual. One should consider the fact that being gay doesn’t mean that you are feminine – many gays are, but many more are masculine – I speak from the experience of having many homosexual and heterosexual black friends. However, from a human rights perspective, the circumcision ritual is becoming regarded more and more as a barbaric event, much as the circumcision of black women in central Africa has become. When a subject is unwilling, by forcing him or her to undergo circumcision, one is committing a crime – it’s a violation of human right, regardless of any particular culture!
