I feel so sorry for the guy! This is SO wrong! IT is shocking what some parents do, and how LITTLE they love their children. I’m even more so shocked at how, ONCE AGAIN, Christianity is the ROOT of destruction to any family. This is enough to make any light believer an instant Atheist. I truly hope Daniel NEVER returns to those people. They just in no way can be regarded as his parents. Surely the parents are shocked at their son’s coming out, clearly their lack of understanding and minds trying to find sense and reasons on the limited education they have (illogical affinity for what the Bible says and disregard for science’s existence), their reaction is by far more overwhelmingly an indication for me of a set of parents who simply never really LOVED their child. Daniel was probably different since childhood (they admitted it in a way and by his voice). The parents were very concerned about WHAT OTHERS WILL THINK OF THEM (her reference to that others will/will not condone them), they knew this day would come, and they simply never grew too attached to their child that they can easily get rid of him the day he goes public. His parents have clearly been brewing on this idea and concept for some time. (Look at how emotional the parents started reacting when they took note that some people on Fcebook might already be aware of their child’s sexuality). I feel sooo soo sorry for him. I know myself how Christianity manifested on the ideas of my own parents (especially my dad) which caused a lot of destruction as well. And its usually some prominent religion at the root. I so badly want to ask Daniel’s mother, if she knew since he was a little boy that he is gay, then how de F* does a little boy make such an intense decision at that age??? I will never go back to such parents. Never. Even if they beg me to come back in 10 or 20 years. Things will never be the same, and stolen time will never be returned and I would always question their love.
