Believe me, when I sleep with a man I think about him and treat him like a man. I have no desire to treat a man like a woman, or to view my partner in a woman’s role. That would be a total hard-on-exterminating thought. This is typical of an heterosexual mindset that stubbornly refuses to see the loving relationship between two men as just that, and nothing more. Why do they constantly have to attribute a male and a female role to our relationships? We are not male-female. We are not role-playing a heterosexual couple. We are just being ourselves. We are male-male or female-female. We do not fit into this heterosexist paradigm.
The only people I can imagine would “sleep with a man as with a woman” could be straight men in prison or in the army, where female sexual contact is non-existent. That is where this role-play would come in. I think this pastor needs to take a biblical hermeneutics course and consider alternative interpretations of this text before inciting murder.
