In reply to marilyn monrie. You're right, the catholic church also condemns prophylactics that will save heterosexuals from being infected by HIV. So I guess they won's change their doctrines to satisfy the sexual appetites of anyone really (except maybe covering up for their own pedophile cohort). Pity because this is totally out of touch with reality.

The catholic church can not change it’s doctrine , which is based on the bible, in order to satisfy the sexual appetite of homosexuals and others who turn their backs on God.

Francis was one of the RC church’s biggest PR successes. Image is everything and the Vatican knows this. But how long can this PR stunt be upheld when, in practice, nothing has changed in it’s attitude towards gay people? No matter what nice things Francis says about the LGBT population, nothing has changed. Church institutions will continue to discriminate and exclude Gay people from it’s organizations. Francis preaches inclusiveness and welcoming gays into the Church, but in practice, they do the exact opposite. Liars and hypocrites, money launderers and sex abusers… It’s a criminal state that has no regard for human rights and should be boycotted!
