Marriage equality is about exactly that, making all marriages equal. What you looking for is relationship equality i.e. a private  commitment = a public commitment = legal commitment and then I&#039;m afraid you&#039;re going to struggle, because someone who felt it means something more to publicly and legally commit to someone is never going to see any other relationship as equal to theirs otherwise why would they have bother? Each to their own, and I&#039;m glad more and more of us have that choice even if it is just to be like everyone else - why do you expect gay people to exclusively want to be different?]]></description>
