A sad day it would be indeed if religious zealots are permitted to use their beliefs to exclude and discriminate against people different to themselves. Considering the millions who have died in so called holy wars throughout the bloody history of the church I suppose I can understand how you and your ilk see no issue here, after all the church has seen fit to lay waste to entire regions in order to impose their will on the people, why would exclusion of some be an issue in comparison – ironic then that you now claim persecution today.
Your claims today pale in comparison to the destruction and murder your churches have been responsible for over centuries. Added to this is the continued degradation of the LGBTI community based upon nothing more than a collection of stories brandished about as if it is fact. Please excuse the rest of us for not being interested in hearing your drivel.

Play the religious we are Christians card, if they are children of God then who are they to judge! Let God alone be judge and jury, look for the log in your own eye etc. The Bible is full of examples, they don’t appear Christian by their actions rather stifled traditional thinkers who point fingers rather than embrace life. Beloftebos a fitting name…. we promise to discriminatory.

Fact check: It is NOT true that the Alberton Magistrate’s Court ruled against Shamani in 2014 – all it did, was to make a settlement agreement between the parties (to avoid the court hearing and making an order on the facts) an order of court. It is also NOT true that the Equality Court in Cape Town made any such ruling in 2015. Again, the Court simply made a settlement order (in terms of which the parties agreed to respect EACH OTHER’s beliefs) an order of court – without hearing the matter and making an order on the facts.
